Gary Danklefsen (Partner): Gary Danklefsen, a long term real estate executive in the Seattle marketplace, has recently moved into the financing of Hollywood feature films, such as Criminal Activities featuring John Travolta, a Garry Marshall Film Mother Day featuring Julie Roberts, Kate Hudson, and Jennifer Aniston. In his real estate career, he exclusive represented The Boeing Company for 10 years as well as Washington Mutual for 4 years. At Washington Mutual, Gary was responsible for over 600 transactions per year with over 15 people working for him, running three separate profit & loss centers. He opened the office for First Industrial in the Seattle market in 2006 and built the first Gold LEED-certified warehouses within the FR portfolio and in the State of Washington.
As an Executive Producer, he recently provided financing for Animal Crackers, an animated movie featuring Emily Blunt, Sylvester Stallone, and Danny DeVito. This movie should be out later in 2018. Mr. Duncan and Mr. Danklefsen decided to “team-up” and create a TV, Movie, and Finance Company to help producers expand their business model. Because of Mr. Danklefsen Christian Faith, their focus will be on family and faith-based projects. Mr. Danklefsen graduated “cum laude” from Seattle University with a BA in Finance and worked for IBM for five years straight out of college in the Seattle market.
Scott Duncan is a Partner in One Light Media Capital, a multifaceted media company focused on media financing (One Light Media Capital), distribution (One Light TV), and e-Commerce (One Light NFT). Media is enjoying a convergence of blockchain technologies with media consumption and One Light aims to be a leader in the space.
Scott Duncan first began his film career in 1986 in Canada with Basstoy International, where he developed and sold national marketing campaigns for many of Steven Spielberg’s films including; Indiana Jones And The Last Crusade, The Back To The Future series, American Tail, The Land Before Time, among others.
In 1995, Scott moved from Toronto to Los Angeles to join Trillion Entertainment and help produce, distribute, and market feature films for worldwide distribution. Having served as Sr. Vice President of Operations and helped produce films with stars such as; Tobey Maguire, Benicio Del Toro, Julia Ormond, and Susan Sarandon, Scott was asked to open and run a new division for Trillion in 2005.
Scott launched and served as President for the new division, Trillion Digital Media, a company built to capitalize on the growing digital production and distribution technologies. By using his extensive relationships in the entertainment industry, Scott secured a multitude of studio content libraries and digital distribution partnerships in the USA, Europe, and Asia.
In 2009, Scott launched his own consulting practice, Global Bridge Media Inc. specializing in helping media companies develop, finance, produce and distribute film, TV, and digital media properties worldwide.
Scott also serves as Head of Strategic Partnerships for Straight Up Studios, a full-service production company with its operations in Venice, California. SUS is unique with experience in all media styles and formats and emerging technologies, as makers of film, television shows, and documentaries or as the production company of choice for concert films and live events.
